I am a Manchester (UK) based watercolour and mixed media artist.  All my working life I was a microbiologist and it is only in the last few years I have fully embraced painting.   I started as a watercolour artist and expanded my knowledge with lessons from a Poynton artist Alisart. I now specialise in creating vibrant and expressive artworks inspired by the beauty in flowers, trees and landscapes.   The abstract mixed media paintings showcased here demonstrate my passion for colour and fluid organic shapes; some of the paintings have a metallic component, such as copper, gold or silver effects.  I would appreciate you exploring my online gallery and hope you too find beauty in the abstract forms.
